From November 21 to 24, the International Festival of Fashion in Africa (FIMA) experienced an exceptional and vibrant fashion event. It was marked by the organization of a musical night that honored all the creative wealth of the continent. Entirely dedicated to fashion, the event brought together iconic stars from Africa and beyond, organized under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in Dakhla, in Marocco.
November 22, was also one of the highlights of this anniversary edition : the public had the chance to follow the finalists of the Creators and Top Models competitions, who paraded for the occasion. Beside, the best jewelers and leatherworkers have in their turn been a worthy part of this celebration.
The “Haské” show, which is entirely dedicated to creation and innovation and which represents the high point of the event, was a real rendez-vous devoted exclusively to fashion professionals, but also to beauty and to art in Africa. On the sidelines of the event, several conferences welcoming a wide audience and were animated, by a panel of experts who have deciphered some major issues for the continent, including the issue of tourism, cultural policy, innovation or training in the fashion trades.
